Oded Zinger is the Perilman postdoctoral fellow at the Center for Jewish Studies at Duke University. His research focuses on the relationship between law, gender and the communal life of Jews in the medieval Islamic world. Next year he will be a fellow at Israel Institute for Advanced Studies as a member in the "Jewish Women’s Cultural Capital from the Late Middle Ages Through the Early Twentieth Century" research Group.
