Senator Ted Deutch, Florida State Senate (D-30), will speak on the topic, “Divesting from Iran: The Efforts of the State of Florida” on Tuesday, February 24, 2009, in room WUC 155 on the Biscayne Bay Campus. A dessert reception sponsored by the Florida Security Council will follow the lecture, which is cosponsored with the Middle East Society, FIU School of Public and International Affairs. The lecture is free and open to the public.
